Homework 13/1/17
This week we have been learning about summarising pieces of information. This means taking the important pieces of information from what we read and putting it into our own sentences.
You have started to research about woodland habitats in class. Continue researching at home about woodland habitats and make notes on the J2E document you started in class, named ‘woodland’ or something similar. You are creating a fact file about woodlands and the plants/animals you may find there. Remember to write sentences in your own words. You can add pictures, text and voice recordings.
You will show a partner your factfile on a woodland habitat in school.
Remember, Mrs Jones takes homework club on a Thursday if you need help with any of your homework.
This is the website you will need to be able to log in to your HWB account and open J2E

Here are the websites you have been using in school :

Feel free to search other websites with the help of an adult.

Y3 Reading Books and Home Link Books January 2017
In class we are working very hard on developing your reading skills during guided reading sessions. At home you must continue to develop your reading skills by reading your Bug Club books and free choice books, either from the school library or books from home. You also need to continue using Bug Club online, which is regularly updated with more books for you to read and complete the quizzes.
Next week we will be monitoring the books you are taking home and how you are using the red home link books. Please update them over the weekend Year 3 with a family member.
