Y3&4 Christmas Songs for homework

Here are the words to your songs. You know the tune so practise the words at home over the weekend and next week. Good Luck!

Hallelujah! Sing Hallelujah

Chorus

Hallelujah! Sing Hallelujah!

Let’s give God the Praise

Hallelujah! Sing Hallelujah!

Christ is born today

(Repeat)

Clap your hands and stamp your feet,

Sing to God above.

Swing your hips round to the beat

And celebrate his love

God is giving life to us

In Jesus Christ His Son.

We can come to know His love,

A new day has begun !

Chorus

Chorus

Hallelujah! Sing Hallelujah!

Let’s give God the Praise

Hallelujah! Sing Hallelujah!

Christ is born today

(Repeat)

Little Star Stay with us

Little star stay with us

Lighten the darkness;

Shine through this long night

And show us the way.

Little star shining,

Tonight we are feeling

You leading us home

Though the journey is long.

All down the centuries

Trav’llers have seen you,

And welcomed the warmth

Of your silent night song.

Little star stay with us

Lighten the darkness;

Shine through this long night

And show us the way.

Once you gave light to

a dimly lit stable,

And melted the chill,

Where the new baby lay;

Silently, gently,

His sleeping you guarded,

And stayed till the dawn

Of another new day.

Little star stay with us

Lighten the darkness;

Shine through this long night

And show us the way.
