Spelling homework – use the spelling strategy sheet you have glued into your homework book. Choose a strategy you have already used but each week try a new one, to build up your bank of strategies to learn spellings. Remember you can also put the words into sentences so you understand the word and know how to use it.

Prefix – adding letter to the beginning of a word

All groups to learn the first set of words beginning with un.

happy – unhappy

tidy – untidy

zip – unzip

tie – untie

fair – unfair

kind – unkind

lucky – unlucky

usual – unusual

certain – uncertain

finished – unfinished

qualified – unqualified

reliable – unreliable

Can you record in your books what these words mean? Ask an adult, use a dictionary, do an online search with an adult. Any other ways you could find out?
