Year 3 have been very hot and bothered this week but we have managed to work on times tables and review our targets.
Y3 now need to work on times tables targets – either ongoing ones or new times table targets they have set themselves this week. Y3 are trying to learn tables in order, eg – 2,4,6,8,10 and then out of order eg – 1×2,5×2,10×2,3×2
We have also been working on division/sharing. Over the weekend if the opportunity arises, using sweets, cubes, coins, cakes, pizza… Can you share out these items and talking about how many they are being shared between and how many each person gets. We will continue to work on division next week and some problem solving.
